dayliWORK

Features

Four things we got right. Everything else, we left out.

dayli.work is opinionated on purpose. Here's what's in the tool, in the order you'll use it every day.

Feature 01

A board that respects your day.

Five columns, drag, drop, done. Rename them, reorder them, or don't. There are no swimlanes you forgot you enabled and no automations firing at 2am. It's a board — honestly.

  • WIP limits per column, gentle warning only
  • Priority, labels, subtasks, comments — nothing weirder
  • Shift-click to multi-select and bulk-move
  • Archive means archive. Search means it's still there.

Feature 02

Time-block without the shame.

Drag any task onto your week. It writes back to Google Calendar in a second. Didn't finish it? It politely drops into tomorrow. No red badges, no "missed" counters, no public dashboards of your overrun.

  • Two-way Google Calendar sync — honest about conflicts
  • Drag-to-reschedule, hold-alt-to-duplicate
  • Auto-reschedule unfinished blocks overnight
  • Respects calendar-only edits — never overwrites you

Feature 03

An AI that knows when to shut up.

Paste a messy spec; get a triaged backlog. Press ⇧⌘S and get a reasonable week auto-scheduled around your meetings. No chatbot, no daily summaries, no "Claude thinks you should…" notifications.

  • Natural-language task input ("next Thu 2pm for 45m")
  • Auto-schedule around your focus-block preferences
  • Parse meeting notes into action items, opt-in only
  • Zero-retention API — your data is not training anything

Feature 04

Yours, not your team's.

Shared where it helps (clients, sprints) and private where it matters (your personal todos). One tool, honest boundaries. Your personal work is not an artifact your manager can roll up.

  • Private, team, and guest spaces — never auto-merged
  • Per-project permissions down to single-task
  • Export everything to JSON, CSV, Markdown — any time
  • Delete means delete. 30-day backup, then it's gone.
